This full-time University Staff ongoing position (Program Associate) provides administrative assistance to the Department of Social Work, i.e., both the Chair of the Department and the Directors of the Social Work Field Program. The Program Associate must exercise independence in performing job duties and have the ability to follow through on all assigned tasks.The Program Associate reports directly to the Department Chair and can work flexible hours, Monday through Friday.The Department of Social Work prides itself on being a positive and supportive place to work.Along with the duties listed in the Standard Job Description -- other major duties include the following:he Helen Bader School of Social Welfare is comprised of the Department of Social Work and the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology. The Department of Social Work is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and offers aBSWin Social Work, a Master’s in Social Work, and a PhD in Social Welfare.
