Responsibilities
Perform line checks on printed items (UPC scans, visual inspection, tape testing, IPA testing, Sutherland Rub, and all other tests required by customers)
Enter NC‑MRs and contain and place suspect product on hold
Challenge metal detectors
Challenge skid scanners
Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods
Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer
Help pull micro samples monthly
Help to prepare AW for audits (IMS, Customer, ISO and SQF)
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent
Prior experience as a Printing Operator (preferred)
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Computer skills (Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Word or the ability to Learn)
Ability to travel as necessary
Ability to lift 30lbs
Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner
Knowledge of C‑Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS and HACCP
Authorities
Put product on hold in JDE
Contain defective product
