Product Manager – Visa Join Visa’s AI/ML Products & Platforms team as a Product Manager, building next‑generation AI/ML capabilities that protect billions of dollars in payments and generate new revenue streams.

The AI/ML team creates scalable, high‑velocity data platforms and models that prevent fraud, power new products, and drive transformative business outcomes.

You will design and deliver platform experiences that enable data scientists, engineers and product teams to build, test, and deploy AI/ML models quickly and reliably.

Essential Functions

Drive product requirements, roadmap planning, and execution for new AI/ML platform capabilities.

Partner closely with technology leads to deliver high‑profile AI products that underpin Visa’s strategic pillars.

Ensure product requirements emphasize scalability and long‑term vision.

Conceptualize, develop and launch new products at the intersection of payments and technology.

Brainstorm with internal and external stakeholders to prototype and co‑create solutions.

Work closely with product, engineering, and partner teams to align goals, manage risk, and communicate transparently.

Translate requirements into a shared set of platform services, writing detailed user stories and demos.

Liaise with data science, product leaders, engineering and other groups to ensure flawless execution; provide status, action plans and recommendations to senior leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

Requirements gathering: collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to define needs and product requirements.

Develop detailed product requirements for platform capabilities and AI models; work with engineering to ensure specifications are met.

User advocacy: represent data scientist needs throughout development.

Acceptance: lead product acceptance with clear criteria; verify final product satisfies user needs and enhances model development.

Product planning and execution: drive roadmaps from development to launch of key models.

Stakeholder communication: regularly update senior leadership and collect feedback.

Strategic and Functional Excellence

Strong interpersonal, leadership, verbal and written communication skills.

Robust technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.

Creative thinker who can define business trade‑offs.

Quantitative mindset with data‑first approach.

Track record of success in fast‑paced, demanding environments.

Deep knowledge of AI/ML technologies and architecture discussions.

Up‑to‑date on AI/ML trends and feature engineering.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications

5+ years relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).

0 years with a PhD qualifies if it demonstrates required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.

2+ years developing and delivering AI solutions at enterprise level.

2+ years hands‑on experience building AI models across the development lifecycle on cloud and on‑prem.

4 years product management experience, launching in a matrixed, highly technical environment.

Strong technical acumen on AI platforms, cloud deployments, and proof‑of‑concept development.

Knowledge of data processing at scale on‑prem and cloud.

Experience in payments industry, especially new AI/ML applications.

Agile/ Scrum methodologies experience.

Additional Information Work Authorization:

Permanent U.S. authorization required; Visa will not sponsor visas.

Work Hours:

Variable by department needs.

Travel Requirements:

5‑10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

Office setting; sitting, standing, using standard office equipment.

Compensation U.S. applicants only: Salary range $131,600–$190,650 USD per year (base), plus potential incentive payments. Salary may vary by factors such as experience, location. Eligible for bonus, equity and a comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Wellness Program).
