Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Use appropriate hand and power tools to repair or maintain equipment.
Receive equipment, document condition, schedule maintenance, and keep service records.
Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.
Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles; ensure safe fueling and oiling.
Diagnose faults using engine diagnostic equipment and determine required repairs.
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
Adjust and maintain industrial machinery using control and regulating devices.
Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, and fabricate needed parts from sheet metal.
Safely dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment with hoists and hand tools.
Clean parts with grease solvent or immersion in solvent tanks.
Weld or solder broken parts and structural members using electric or gas welders.
Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Research, order, and maintain parts inventory for services and repairs.
Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure compliance with specifications.
Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile equipment.
Assist operators in completing daily inspections before use; ensure safety policies are followed.
Ensure equipment leaving the job or warehouse is job‑ready for the next assignment.
Potentially act as a lead and direct other professionals.
Potentially supervise the work of others and provide training development.
Identify and assess improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Participate in or lead all safety‑related processes and programs; engage with the team to achieve zero injuries.
Report accidents and near misses to supervisor; participate in investigations as needed.
Lead or participate in pre‑job work planning and safety discussions; identify hazards and implement corrective action.
Respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices.
Support and follow lockout‑tagout procedures; attend site‑specific training and adhere to outlined procedures.
Follow established safety rules and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Use effective verbal and written communication skills.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Management Responsibilities Acts in capacity of a “lead person.” Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred high school graduate with some college experience.

Minimum Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience as a mechanic considered an A level Technician with strong working knowledge of mechanics.
At least 2 years experience as a manager or supervisor.
Must have knowledge of industrial construction equipment, machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
Unrestricted driver’s license and clean MVR.
Must have all necessary tools.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Position will require the possession of or obtaining a Class A CDL (within 6 months of hire).
All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search, etc.) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
Travel may be required.
Typical mix of office, warehouse, laydown yard, and construction project site environment.
Working in cramped work spaces and awkward positions.
Exposure to very hot (>90 °F) or very cold ( Exposure to bright or low lighting conditions.
Exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels.
Work around hazardous equipment.
Exposure to high places.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move in confined spaces, and navigate uneven areas.
Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with job duties.
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls according to procedures.
Repetitive movement required.
Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
Work up to a 12‑hour shift in varying temperature extremes and outdoor conditions.
