Manager, Title IX and Clery Compliance
Location: Augusta University, Augusta, GA
Job Summary: The Manager of Title IX and Clery Compliance serves as the university’s accountability, education, and compliance leader for Title IX and Clery Act programs. The Manager is the designated institutional Title IX Coordinator and oversees all aspects of compliance with Title IX, related laws, and the Clery Act through supervision of the Title IX Investigator.
Responsibilities
Ensure university policies and procedures regarding sexual harassment and misconduct comply with Title IX and other laws.
Provide accessible reporting methods for students and employees, including confidential and anonymous options.
Respond to complaints and conduct investigations, arranging interim and supportive measures as appropriate.
Maintain records in accordance with law and university policy.
Identify and address patterns in complaints during reviews.
Ensure Clery Act policies comply with laws and best practices.
Advise and collaborate with legal, student affairs, HR, athletics, police, faculty affairs, and other stakeholders on compliance matters.
Partner with student health, counseling, and other offices to provide continuity of care for reporting parties.
Serve as chair for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness committees and lead campus-based prevention programming.
Represent the university on the Augusta Judicial Sexual Assault Response Team.
Direct supervisor to the institutional Title IX Investigator/Clery Coordinator and oversee Deputy Coordinators.
Train Title IX team and staff on grievance procedures and education.
Review and provide feedback on investigative reports, appeal letters, and annual Clery security reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and five years of experience in project management, systems administration/integration, data integrity/analytics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, statistics, data analytics, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge
of Title IX regulations, university policies, and related laws.
Skills
in problem‑solving, interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication, and prioritization.
Abilities
to develop educational materials, conduct investigations, maintain confidentiality, and plan work independently.
Shift / Salary / Benefits Shift: Days; Monday–Friday (work outside standard business hours may be required)
Pay Band: B12
Salary: $62,300 – $78,400 annually (commensurate with qualifications)
Recruitment Period: Until Filled
