Mayfield Spine Surgery Center is hiring a Full-Time Business Office Manager! Mayfield Spine Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and a service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Business Office Manager to join our team. As a Business Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations.
The Business Office Manager exercises general supervision over business office staff and directs all areas of credit and collections for the Surgery Center. Plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the Business Office, including the administration of policies on accounting, insurance, internal controls, accounts payable, auditing of patient accounts, scheduling, admissions, medical records, and claims processing.
Position requires weekdays only – no holidays or weekends. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related business experience. Preferred three years of management experience, including at least three years in a health care organization. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of fiscal management experience. Experience in Revenue Cycle Management. Thorough understanding of the insurance industry. Knowledge of governmental regulations. Maintains a high level of proficiency in computer applications. Skills in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the general public. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management regarding fiscal policies. What We Offer
