The
Facilities Technician Specialist
is responsible for performing and overseeing predictive and preventive maintenance activities to ensure maximum facility uptime. This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting critical facility systems, supporting cleanroom operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee contractors performing
predictive and preventive maintenance
on facility systems to maximize uptime. Monitor, troubleshoot, document, and support maintenance activities for
wastewater treatment systems
and
DI water systems . Support staff in monitoring and managing
cleanroom performance
according to specifications set by Manufacturing and Facilities departments. Utilize the
Building Automation System (BAS)
to monitor facility equipment and systems, correct malfunctions, and implement necessary changes. Perform maintenance and repairs on
building equipment , including
HVAC and plumbing systems . Read and interpret
operation and maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, engineering sketches, diagrams , and other technical drawings to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. Serve as a member of the
emergency response team . Ensure all work complies with
industry standards, applicable codes, regulations, and company directives
related to building operations, chemical handling, and safe work practices. Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and vendor information. Collect, handle, label, and oversee
hazardous and universal waste
in designated areas per regulatory requirements and company policies; maintain current training certifications. Complete
Facilities Work Orders
as assigned. Work safely in
Semiconductor FAB and laboratory environments , which include hazardous equipment, energies, chemicals, magnetic fields, and radiation sources (note: magnetic fields may affect pacemakers). Perform other duties as assigned. Skills:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $30.95 and $40.64 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off.
