Willowcreek Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
to support and partner with our Director of Nursing in leading nursing services for our skilled nursing facility.

Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the administration and management of Nursing Services in accordance with physician orders, resident needs, and all federal, state, and company regulations. In partnership with the Director of Nursing, the ADON provides 24-hour oversight of nursing services and assumes responsibility for clinical operations in the DON’s absence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations and clinical services
Ensure delivery of compassionate, high-quality resident care
Support compliance with federal, state, and survey requirements
Supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, competency evaluations, and performance management
Participate in admissions decisions and care planning
Monitor infection control, QA, and risk management programs
Prepare staff for state and federal surveys and implement Plans of Correction as needed
Conduct rounds to assess resident care, documentation, and staff performance
Collaborate with physicians, therapy, interdisciplinary team members, and department heads
Promote staff education, engagement, and professional development
Support employee relations, hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes
Serve as on-call nursing leadership as required
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri - REQUIRED
Minimum of 2 years of long-term care nursing experience - REQUIRED
Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Strong knowledge of LTC regulations, survey process, and QA standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
