About the Role Avian is searching for a senior level Assistant Program Manager Test & Evaluation (APMT&E) to support NAVAIR's Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems (ATAPS) Program Office, PMA-272, in Patuxent River, MD with the Countermeasures and Expendables Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Responsibilities The APMT&E will develop T&E strategies to test Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems across the USN/USMC portfolio. The APMT&E will support programmatic milestones within resource constraints, and plan, coordinate, execute, and document T&E related meetings to execute T&E efforts.

Chair Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and Test Plan Working Group (TPWG) meetings

Develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and support OPTEVFOR with the Integrated Engineering Framework (IEF) development

Develop and manage the T&E schedule

Develop a T&E Spend Plan and support POM submissions

Coordinate aircraft demand signals with respective platform PMAs

Represent T&E at SETR events

Manage lab, ground and flight test events

Lead the execution of complex tasks

Interface between the IPTs, OPTEVFOR, DT/OT test squadrons and lab facilities to support test efforts

Must be able to work independently

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.

Required Experience and Skills

Prior APMT&E experience

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Due to the sensitivity of customer‑related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Salary range: $160,000 - $180,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
