Manager Job Summary

You are the face of the company and will provide Uncompromising Standards of Quality and Service by ensuring hot food is always served hot, cold food cold, all food fresh, in a clean environment, in uniform with a smile.
We're looking for a Manager for our Capriotti's Sarasota in Bradenton FL. Manager candidates must have management experience in food service, ideally fast food, fast casual, and QSR concepts. The manager may be required to undergo a 2‑week training “crash course” at other Capriotti’s locations both in and out of state; all training costs are covered by the employer. Manager will be on a bonus program.

Responsibilities
Build teams by identifying, recruiting, and hiring the best talent and utilizing good performance‑management strategies to retain talent.
Coach, develop, and motivate the shop’s team members by following Capriotti’s training standards; identify and address additional development needs to encourage growth and retention.
Prepare team schedules with a focus on operational excellence and cost management without sacrificing guest satisfaction and team morale; equitably share the team workload to maintain balance.
Role‑model the standards and maintain the culture for delivering captivating service to guests.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and building regulations regarding food preparation, serving, and maintenance.
Prepare all products according to Capriotti’s specifications, using the correct portion, quality, and presentation controls.
Maintain the integrity of Capriotti’s recipes to ensure a consistent guest experience at any location.
Be responsible for cash management and bank deposits.
Monitor budgets, cost of goods sold, labor, payroll records, and all other financial transactions related to the shop.
Qualifications
Service orientation – actively looks for ways to help others.
Time management – demonstrates ability to multi‑task; remains “hands‑on” during a busy shift without losing focus on the guest, product quality, and team performance; organizes, plans, and prioritizes daily and weekly tasks/projects.
Computer/technology – experience with POS systems and proficiency in the use of a computer (e‑mail, spreadsheets, and other documents).
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in temperatures of 0°F or less and up to 100°F.
Ability to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods.
Can move 50 lb. for a distance of up to 10 ft.
Ability to balance and move up to 25 lb. for distances of up to 50 ft.
