Responsibilities
The Bilingual NMP Process Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling the NMP line during plant startup, shutdown, and routine operations. This role ensures production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, while also managing NMP product levels, running the distillation process, supporting material handling, and overseeing loading operations at customer locations.
Operate the NMP line during plant startup, shutdown, and normal operations to meet production objectives.
Monitor and control process parameters (flow rates, pressures, temperatures, levels, etc.) using control systems, displays, and trend logs.
Manage NMP product levels and run the distillation process to maintain production efficiency and quality.
Travel to customer locations to manage NMP loading operations, including connecting/disconnecting lines and operating pumps.
Ensure safe handling of NMP at both plant and customer facilities in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Travel may be part of daily shift routine; operator will return home daily. Company vehicle provided for travel.
Operate a forklift on occasion to move materials, equipment, or supplies as needed.
Communicate with field operators to adjust plant parameters as required.
Report process deviations, abnormalities, or alarms immediately to the Shift Production Supervisor.
Perform minor plant adjustments as needed and escalate serious faults to the Supervisor with recommended corrective actions.
Implement approved procedures, corrective actions, and standard emergency responses promptly.
Safely monitor and control the usage of raw materials, chemicals, and utilities to maintain optimum operating efficiency.

Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent; advanced technical training preferred.
Bilingual in Korean/English.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily to customer sites.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift operation environment.
Willingness to learn and complete company-provided training on NMP distillation, loading processes, and equipment operation.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
Physically capable of performing operational tasks, including climbing stairs, working outdoors, handling hoses, and wearing required PPE.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods during shift operations.
Prepare and assist in the preparation of operational reports for review by the Production Supervisor.
Ensure safe shutdown, isolation, and blowdown of equipment or plant sections during emergencies.
Support problem‑solving efforts by identifying operational issues and recommending remedial measures.
Investigate equipment or process faults and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
Contribute to workforce development by training new operators, supporting orientation programs, and sharing operational knowledge.
Participate in plant shutdown/startup activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and safety programs.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
