Assistant Program Coordinator
Job Type:
Part-time
Schedule:
20 hours per week; in person, some evening hours, with ability to work some hours from home.
Salary:
$26 per hour
Responsibilities
Supporting the Strengthening Families Program (SFP), an evidence-based group program that helps families develop skills, connections, and support.
Participating in intensive training in the SFP and SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF).
Providing support to the Program Coordinator in daily operations including community outreach, administrative duties, organizing, planning, and creating marketing materials.
Ensuring that supplies and materials (including food) are ready for group facilitators.
Providing backup coverage for group facilitation.
Assisting with data collection and program evaluation.
Developing and maintaining partnerships with referral resources.
Maintaining a strong connection with group participants.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or high school diploma preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience working with families and in early childhood required.
Commitment to serving a diverse community.
Experience with group dynamics.
Proficiency in communication and technology (e‑mail, writing skills, cell phones, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Forms, Canva, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Language capacity highly desirable.
