About The Role The Web Strategy team is the digital front door to Cloudflare. We need a curious, self-motivated analyst who blends web analytics and marketing data analysis to drive our most critical website initiatives. You will partner strategically, dive deep into complex datasets, stitch disparate sources, and surface the "why" behind the "what." Your insights inform our roadmap for personalization, experimentation, and user journey optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead deep‑dive analysis of user behavior, conversion funnels, and content engagement across global web properties.
Query, extract, and blend large datasets from web analytics platforms, BI databases, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
Deliver actionable insights on user journeys, segmentation, friction points, trends, and projections that drive strategic decisions.
Build and maintain robust dashboards and reports in Tableau, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, and similar tools for executive and marketing audiences.
Partner with A/B testing and personalization teams to design hypotheses, measurement frameworks, and post‑test analysis.
Evaluate and apply internal AI tools to increase velocity and quality of insights.
Develop and run statistical models to forecast key web metrics and predict behaviors such as propensity to convert.
Advocate for data literacy across the marketing organization, sharing insights and helping stakeholders ask the right questions.
Experience
8+ years in a large B2B, D2C, SaaS, or enterprise cloud company.
5+ years in an analytics role, preferably within marketing, web analytics, or product analytics.
Hands‑on experience with an enterprise‑level web analytics platform (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4) in a high‑traffic environment.
Proficiency with A/B/n testing methodologies and statistical significance.
Experience with data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar.
SQL for querying complex, large‑scale datasets.
Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
Familiarity with CRM and Marketing Automation data for a full‑funnel view.
Expertise in creating impactful dashboards with Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics) or equivalent experience is preferred.
Work Hours Reasonable overlap with U.S. work hours expected during the week. Weekend work may arise occasionally for critical launches.
