Project Manager, Bureau of Mental Hygiene/Administration, id # 715568 The Division of Mental Hygiene of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is responsible for policy, programs, and providing oversight related to mental health, alcohol and/or drug use prevention care and treatment, as well as developmental delays & disabilities.

Duties Manage various projects (which may involve operations, programs, research and/or policy) related to key strategic areas for the bureau, including HR, contracts, finance and strategic partnerships. Support decision making by unit leadership. Write/present reports, briefings, proposals, position statements and presentations for internal and external distribution. Identify grant funding available to support/expand/improve the quality of mental health initiatives. Coordinate and contribute to the development of grant applications (narrative and budget) etc.

l)Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Teams etc

Minimum Qualification Requirements 1. A doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization; or 2. A master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization; or etc..
