Who You Are Unlock Health is seeking a high-performing individual who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to serve as an Associate Manager on the Growth Acceleration team. The Associate Manager will lead key growth initiatives, focusing on driving revenue growth through current and new clients across both formal and non-formal pitches/proposals. This role is ideal for a result-oriented, relationship-driven professional with a deep understanding of marketing services, ideally in healthcare, and proven experience in agency account management (advertising, marketing, or communications) or similar client-facing roles.
You will be responsible for fully delivering and executing enterprise opportunities, cultivating relationships with key internal decision-makers, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions that meet client and prospect needs, as well as organizational growth objectives. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys a mix of strategic work and hands-on execution. Key responsibilities would span across business development opportunities, team operations, process standardization/optimization, and team alignment. This position reports to the Growth Office’s Director and collaborates with the broader Growth Acceleration team.
What You'll Do
Develop RFP responses, specifically in integrated marketing RFPs or Agency of Record opportunities
Content development for and project management of RFP opportunities
Support on lead-vetting calls, collaborating with the broader team in translating the expressed business challenges and needs into bespoke presentations and customized programs/proposals
Tracking and reporting on opportunities in Salesforce CRM system
Conduct opportunity postmortems and document updated pitch processes and learnings
Develop research on target organizations and industry trends to support new business efforts, including proactive tracking of marketing and industry trends to inform the new business process
Ownership of specific Growth team initiatives, such as management/execution of referral partner strategy and standardization of content
Support on lead-vetting calls, collaborating with the GAO team in translating the identified opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and interaction between Growth, Client Experience, and Marketing teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, marketing, or a related field
4+ years of experience in business development, account management, or revenue operations within an agency or marketing services environment
Naturally curious with a life-long passion for learning and self-improvement
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
Critical thinker and strategic problem solver who maintains attention to detail
Strong understanding of integrated marketing services, including digital, creative, and media strategies
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Adept at identifying opportunities for process or organizational improvement
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, including managing upwards and downwards
Nice To Haves
Experience or knowledge of key verticals, including hospitals/health systems, provider organizations, behavioral health organizations, and/or senior living organizations
Experience with tools including Salesforce, Loopio, and/or Workfront
Experience with RFP processes and working within a procurement infrastructure
Experience with competitive pitching in an agency environment
