Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR
4 years of job-related work experience OR
2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Required Work Experience
6 years of development experience
4 years of performance testing and tuning experience
Strong background in cloud-based performance testing
Required Technologies & Skills
Cloud-hosted application performance and load testing experience
Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test cases, and automated scripts
Performance testing tools:
Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner Cloud
Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid
JUnit, TestNG
SoapUI, Postman, Insomnia
Strong understanding of:
Performance KPIs, metrics, and testing types
Performance monitoring tools
Defect tracking and test management:
TestRail, JIRA, Confluence, ALM
AWS CloudWatch Synthetics
Cloud migration testing experience:
Lift-and-shift
Re-platforming
Cloud modernization testing
Strong knowledge of:
REST / SOAP API testing

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Plan and execute performance and load testing for:
Connexion Portal
Other CBIC CMS-hosted applications
Simulate real-world usage to:
Identify performance bottlenecks
Ensure scalability and reliability
Maintain test plans, execution tracking, and results in TestRail
Log defects and align testing efforts with Agile sprints using JIRA
Collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups
Maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes in Confluence
Validate application behavior in AWS cloud environments
Support CMS compliance and security testing
Ensure all releases meet CMS performance and security standards
Perform administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing
Collect and analyze performance data to support continuous improvement
