Job Description – Business Development Representative We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team, providing best-in-class ERP solutions to custom woodworking companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a BDR for a SaaS organization.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in driving the growth of INNERGY by generating qualified leads and booking meetings for our sales team. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients and work closely with our sales and marketing teams to identify, qualify, and nurture prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads: research, identify, and qualify potential leads through outbound calls, emails, social media, and other methods.
Build and maintain a lead pipeline: create and manage a pipeline of potential clients to drive business growth.
Outreach strategy execution: develop and execute cold outreach strategies, including personalized emails, phone calls, and social selling.
Set qualified meetings: schedule high-quality meetings for sales reps with decision-makers at target companies.
CRM management: maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM (Hubspot).
Collaborate with sales and marketing: work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
Nurture relationships: build relationships with potential clients and nurture leads through personalized follow-ups and targeted communication.
Stay informed: develop a deep understanding of our SaaS ERP software and its benefits for custom manufacturers in the millwork and cabinet industries.
Key Metrics
Number of meetings set with qualified leads.
Number of new opportunities generated.
Outreach activity (calls, emails, etc.).
Pipeline growth and conversion rates.
Qualifications and Requirements
1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles at a SaaS organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
Resilience in cold outreach and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
Comfortable using CRM tools, prospecting tools, and other sales enablement software.
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales reps, marketing, and other teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to gather insights from outreach data to improve strategy.
