Summary Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center and the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Center are set to open in January 2026. This state‑of‑the‑art facility located in Speros, Florida will offer a comprehensive range of cancer care services, including screenings, diagnostic imaging, infusion services, and advanced radiation therapy.
Job Summary The Radiation Therapy Business Practice Manager is responsible for managing the resources and policies to ensure optimal MMG radiation therapy faculty practice support and revenue cycle processes for both physician and technical billing as well as provide management support for assign modalities. Assures accurate and up‑to‑date charge master and CPT codes. This position establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to professional and technical productivity, charge capture and billing, and revenue cycle optimization. Provides business and analysis and reporting to support supply chain planning/forecasting. Provides supervision for scheduling, registration, front desk, clerical and system support functions. In addition, will be responsible for the daily operation of assigned modalities within the radiation therapy department. This position will effectively maintain a system of monitoring the quality, safety, and productivity and the appropriateness of services provided to achieve the best individualized care possible for all patients based on age appropriateness care. Other related duties as assigned by appropriate leadership.
Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date charge master and CPT codes.
Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks related to professional and technical productivity, charge capture and billing, and revenue cycle optimization.
Provide business analysis and reporting to support supply chain planning/forecasting.
Supervise scheduling, registration, front desk, clerical and system support functions.
Oversee daily operation of assigned modalities; monitor quality, safety, productivity and appropriateness of services for all patients.
Perform related duties as assigned by appropriate leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or MBA (preferred).
Licensure Required
ARRT – Radiation Therapy
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of five years of experience in radiation oncology as a radiation therapist with in‑depth understanding of professional and technical billing processes.
Skills and Training Required
Analytical and clear communication of objectives.
Excellent team building, interpersonal negotiating and project management skills.
Radiation oncology billing experience and computer proficiency.
Record and verify hospital EMR experience.
Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing billing accuracy, reimbursement rates and departmental efficiency.
