Job Overview As a Post Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of creative execution & post‑production processes. You will be responsible for managing all post production projects, working closely with creative and production teams to ensure the content meets the creative direction. During post‑production, you will collaborate with the internal creative team, external editors, and clients to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high‑quality video content. Your ability to plan, organize, problem‑solve, and communicate effectively will be essential in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and bringing our creative visions to life efficiently and on budget.

Responsibilities

Pre-Production Workflow Assistance

including but not limited to:

Scheduling:

Create post production schedules ahead of time, coordinating with all relevant teams & clients to ensure expectations are met.

Crew Management:

Source, hire and coordinate editors and other contractors, ensuring that all positions are staffed with qualified professionals.

Budget Management:

Create or consult on all post production budgets. Build & maintain budgets ranging, but not limited to, social media cuts to commercial deliverables.

Resource Allocation:

Negotiate rates with contractors to ensure cost‑effective solutions.

Post Production Coordination

including but not limited to:

Project Coordination:

Oversee the post‑production process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards. This includes managing timelines, schedules, and deadlines for multiple deliverables/projects at one time.

Team Collaboration:

Work alongside the internal team to ensure creative vision is followed through in post‑production. Work closely with editors, motion graphics designers, VFX artists, and other post‑production staff to allocate resources effectively and ensure smooth project workflow.

Client Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the post‑production phase, providing updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

Quality Control:

Review edits to ensure they meet creative and technical standards. Coordinate any necessary revisions or adjustments with the editing team. At times, reviewing and providing feedback on your own before bringing rounds to the Creative team.

Asset Management:

Organize and manage all post‑production assets, including raw footage, project files, and final deliverables, ensuring they are properly archived and accessible to the team.

Other Production and Client Responsibilities :

Contribute to Fresh Tape Media efforts by attending meetings, brainstorming sessions, offering suggestions and solutions, and providing follow‑up on projects.

Grow professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/seminars, reviewing professional publications, etc.

Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

Basic Qualifications

Experience:

3‑4 years of experience in post‑production coordination or a similar role within a video production environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in post‑production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with video formats, codecs, cloud editing, and workflows.

Organizational Skills:

Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep track of various tasks and deadlines.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem‑Solving:

Strong problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Attention to Detail:

Keen eye for detail, ensuring that all video content meets creative and technical standards before delivery.

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment and collaborate with various departments.

Adaptability:

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines with ability to work weekends and evenings based on required delivery timelines.

Job Type Full Time

Payment $55,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience
