Job Overview The Walmart Operations Manager establishes and maintains management and communication routines with field sales to achieve full execution of sold programming as well as the successful deployment and maintenance of our new Walmart One Best Way process and associated tools. The manager also serves as the conduit to provide operational feedback from the frontlines on the viability of and executional opportunities with our Walmart strategies. Scope of responsibility is to routines and teammates within 1‑2 RSAs and 60‑100 Walmart outlets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coached Walmart sales and process with ADs and DSMs; topics include best-in-class sales/relationships, execution of the Walmart commercial plan, data-based business reviews, and training on the One Best Way process and associated tools. Target: 20 stores/week.

Established and managed weekly RSA communication routines to improve Walmart engagement and execution with Field Sales Teams and conducted routine cadences with Walmart Market Managers to review customer service levels and operational opportunities.

Reviewed execution-based reporting and drove improvement across key Walmart & CCCI KPIs using data to identify largest execution gaps.

Key KPIs: Consolidated financial targets, execution of commercial initiatives/LOS Big Bets, void closures, preload/prebook acceptance, store refusals, Walmart replenishable instocks, Walmart First Pick Rate Accuracy.

Collaborated with Walmart Directors to improve processes, tools, and execution within assigned RSA.

Conducted cross‑functional market tours with internal leaders and external partners to review customer service levels, identify selling opportunities, and strategize continuous improvement in Walmart.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

3–5 years in the CPG industry.

Sales experience calling on retailers.

Attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsive customer service skills.

Continuous improvement mindset.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and cross‑functional relationship building.

Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Relevant knowledge obtained through 3–5 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Sales, or related field.
