Shift & Schedule Fulltime, Wednesday-Sunday; 12pm-8:30pm
Responsibilities
Ensure Room Service Lead and other staff complete all duties as described in their job descriptions.
Ensure nourishment rooms, waiting areas, and other departments are properly stocked; communicate with clinical managers to establish par levels.
Maintain department paperwork for room service line activities and assist the Room Services Manager as needed.
Collect a variety of financial and quality control data for the department.
Train all new room service staff.
Communicate patient complaints to management and assist with complaint resolution and customer satisfaction measures.
Work effectively with other department supervisors to ensure quality of patient care.
Education & Experience
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Must have previous supervisory experience in foodservice or health care.
Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, speak and hear. Lifting limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and 50 lbs. for non‑clinical staff; must use an assisted‑lift device or additional assistance for lifts above these limits.
