Key responsibilities: develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing direct materials globally and regionally, negotiate contracts with vendors to secure optimal pricing and terms; continuously monitor market trends, raw material prices, and potential risks; build and maintain strong supplier relationships; conduct cost analysis, perform cost modeling, and monitor productivity initiatives to achieve cost‑effective procurement and meet budgeted objectives; identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity; work closely with internal teams (Purchasing, Production, Project teams, and Finance) to understand material requirements and communicate forecasts and delivery schedules.
