How You Will Make History Here This position manages specific capacity load leveling and planning activities in Campbell’s North America. Duties include generation of the two-year horizon production plans, management of all network capacity constraints, maintenance of all planning relevant master data, and determination of key sourcing decisions that affect the capacity plan.

Key tactical and strategic management over finished goods inventory projections, capacity utilization, plant run strategies, and generating plans to obtain and maintain world-class levels of customer service. Critical execution role in driving the supply chain Demand Driven Supply Network strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Capacity Planning and Inventory Planning Management.

Synchronizes and optimizes plan parameter settings that impact plan performance and output of rough-cut capacity plan.

Runs scenarios to develop optimal inventory position while maintaining customer service, prebuild requirements, capacity limitations, and transportation expense targets.

Manages weekly capacity planning activities in CNA and key master data inputs.

Operational liaison with the plant to drive changes in crewing strategy, sourcing strategy, and develop strategies to maximize service and minimize inventory.

Provides key inputs to the AOP and financial projection process, proactively managing and balancing financial, inventory, and service risks.

Drives Demand Driven Supply Network strategy by implementing key components of Produce-to-Demand into the production plan.

Identifies cost and inventory improvement opportunities and supports delivery of the overall Network Optimization enabler plan.

Other duties as assigned.

Strategic Planning – Engages with external knowledge sources and industry analysts for best practices.

Responsible for training in the business processes.

Responsible for resource downtime, ramp-up, and capital improvements as it relates to capacity planning.

Safety Stock and Power User Expert – Provides management oversight, education, and training to all users of safety stock.

Manages and maintains all safety stock functionality ensuring the Plan generated by the Supply/Network Planning tool is optimized.

Works closely with the Demand Planning and Demand Sensing team to ensure an optimized set of processes and data streams exists to realize proper forecast integrated to the Supply Planning module(s).

Job Complexity

What You Bring To The Table

BA/BS in Logistics, Operations Management, or general Business.

Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant supply chain experience.

Ability to interpret and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goals.

Autonomous with superior attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Excellent conflict resolution skills.

Effective communication with various functions and levels within the organization.

Works effectively in cross-functional team environment.

Ability to train others.

It Would Be Nice If You Have

High level of expertise in SAP planning and scheduling tools including APO and PPDS.

Working Conditions Normal office environment with expected travel less than 10%.

Compensation And Benefits Target base salary range: $92,100–$132,400. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. Competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits begin on the first day of employment.
