Our client is a fiduciary wealth management firm in the Waltham, MA area that works with clients whose financial lives often involve complex stock‑based compensation and personal tax changes. The client is looking for a CPA or Master’s degree holder with 3‑6 years of tax experience who is interested in transitioning into wealth management—supporting client analysis, preparing planning materials, and contributing to a highly collaborative advisory process.
Responsibilities
Participate in client meetings with the Wealth Manager.
Support comprehensive financial planning, trading, and portfolio management.
Prepare meeting materials and coordinate follow‑up with clients, attorneys, accountants, and HR contacts.
Apply CPA expertise to equity compensation and tax planning (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPPs, AMT).
Respond to day‑to‑day client needs and ensure timely execution of planning items.
Qualifications
Active CPA designation with strong tax planning experience, ideally in the high‑net‑worth space.
Experience with high‑net‑worth personal tax planning.
Familiarity with equity compensation planning is a plus.
CFP® designation (or willingness to pursue it with our firm’s support).
4+ years in public accounting, tax advisory, or related financial services.
Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 + Bonus Hours: 8 am to 5 pm Job ID: KBW789
