Job Summary
Dominion Energy invites applications for a Sourcing Specialist on its Supply Chain Management team, located in the Clearinghouse in downtown Richmond. This role focuses on spend analysis, procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and continuous improvement of sourcing processes.
Responsibilities
Conduct major spend analysis by supplier, commodity, or service and identify potential new suppliers. Develop and issue RFPs with complex pricing tables. Analyze supplier proposals, perform legal and insurance reviews, and conduct net present value analysis. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, insurance, performance metrics, penalties, issue resolution, and intellectual property agreements. Identify and secure cost improvements for purchased materials and services through negotiation and ongoing supplier management. Develop and administer measurement tools on a contract basis. Perform trend analysis and implement process improvements. Analyze all cost and process aspects of assigned spend. Lead cross‑functional sourcing initiatives, including the development and implementation of complex sourcing strategies.
Qualifications
2–4 years of related experience in sourcing or procurement. Working knowledge of procurement practices, procedures, and policies. Understanding of business and contract law. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. Familiarity with MRP, ERP, and purchasing/logistics systems. Effective human‑relations skills. Preferred experience procuring IT goods and services (hardware, software, telecommunication).
Education & Licensing
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Office Work Environment: 76–100% Travel: Up to 25%

Richmond, VA Salary: $72,800 – $83,200 per year
