Project Manager – Life Sciences
Emerson is seeking an experienced Project Management professional to lead DeltaV projects valued up to $20M within Emerson’s Systems and Software business, focusing on the Life Sciences industry.
Locations: Houston, TX; Bluebell, PA; Durham, NC; Round Rock, TX; St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively identify and manage project risks in collaboration with the project team and customers.
Lead projects to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Communicate and manage project changes that impact cost and/or schedule with customers.
Contribute to proposal development by estimating project management and controls efforts, creating preliminary schedules, defining execution strategies, and performing risk assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience working on control system projects, with at least 5 years in Life Science.
5+ years as a Project Manager.
Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving scope, financials, schedule, risk, quality, and customer relationships.
Ability to travel to client and Emerson locations up to 25% of the time.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification.
Experience with Agile/Scrum project execution.
Familiarity with DeltaV systems.
