Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Produce transportation designs for roadway/highway sections, including pavement design, alignment, drainage, and multimodal accommodations.

Perform traffic engineering tasks such as traffic counts, safety studies, signal warrant analyses, traffic impact statements, and parking studies.

Develop construction documents: signing & pavement marking plans, channelization, site lighting, signal systems, utility accommodation, and right-of-way drawings.

Manage permitting and regulatory compliance: coordinate with FDOT, local municipalities, federal and state agencies; prepare access permits; utility relocation design.

Oversee construction administration: maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans, site visits, reviewing shop drawings, ensuring design intent, and assisting with expert testimony if needed.
