Payroll Coordinator Being a Payroll Coordinator requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion. The role of a Payroll Coordinator is to support the payroll processes in making sure employees are paid accurately and on time across the United States. Responsible for precise data entry while working with a team to meet tight deadlines as well as providing excellent customer service to employees.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
Maintain employee records including tax and other relevant information
Enter and verify accuracy of employee data, prepare reports and process tracking documents
Conduct bi-weekly audits
Request documents from internal and external departments
Create FedEx shipments
Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Comply with state and federal regulations regarding payroll law
Conveys accurate and appropriate information
Level of accuracy in work produced
Successfully meets required deadlines
Requirements
Experience working in an office setting
Previous software experience a plus (i.e. Microsoft Suite, UKG, Outlook)
Preferred working knowledge of payroll law.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to perform under pressure
Self-motivated
Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to prioritize
Compensation Full- Time $25.00 to $26.50 per hour
