Responsibilities
Monitor, track, and trend inventory accuracy and discrepancies.
Ensure fill requests are on‑time, correct quantity, and right product.
Maintain timeliness of reporting; late reports trigger notices.
Adhere to regulatory and contract requirements.
Reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
Maintain adequate, safe, accessible, and secure storage locations.
Optimize space utilization and organize inventory for customer inspection.
Authorize and deauthorize access, monitor for unusual activity.
Inspect and receive shipments; understand barcode schema.
Communicate release of fill orders and track receipt at ship‑to location.
Follow shipping export and safety regulations (EAS; ITAR).
Track and record transfers, in‑process and inspection and receiving destinations.
Analyze quantity‑to‑maintain based on estimated usage.
Conduct accurate physical inventories on the proper cycle.
Audit counts and inventories performed by others.
Research, document, and report discrepancies.
Dispose of obsolete or excess inventory.
Reconcile inventory calculations (balance = beginning + received - shipped).
Assess inventory value using FIFO; report for insurance and project charging.
Periodically report inventory to customers in their format.
Accrue sales taxes and regulatory fees for inventory sold to third parties.
Maintain scrap policy and document scrap sale.
Follow up with customers to ensure receipt in good condition.

Government Furnished Equipment: contractual requirement, any value.
Contractor‑acquired property: similar requirements.
Warehouse inventory: commercial or government customers provide equipment for general use or specific projects.
Inventory held for resale: batteries, fees, taxes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years experience or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years.
Ideal candidate should have supervisory/leadership experience.
