Quality Assurance Chemist Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr
Locations: Gurnee, IL; North Chicago, IL
What You’ll Do:
Perform chemical and microbial testing to ensure product quality
Inspect raw materials, packaging, and labels
Assist with finished product inspections
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment
Approve products for release in line with regulatory standards
Support lab and product validation initiatives
Maintain an organized and fully functional QA lab
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline or equivalent experience
2–5 years of laboratory experience
Hands‑on experience with lab equipment (pH meters, viscometers, UV‑Vis, GC, FTIR, auto titrators, etc.)
Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with databases
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing processes
