Responsibilities
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, deliver to appropriate store.
Maintain fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure; familiar with accident report guidelines.
Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
Deliver deliveries according to set schedule; report any delays to city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on route.
Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations; communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
Clock in/out according to company policy.
Check fluid levels, log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately; ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day.
Drive safely and defensively.
Qualities and Requirements
Must have legal required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Desired
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
