Operations Manager | Fremont, MI Salary Range:

$105,000 - $152,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily production operations to meet output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Oversee inventory management, supply chain coordination, and logistics to ensure optimal material flow and cost control.

Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring adequate staffing.

Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

Manage operational budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and control expenditures to achieve financial objectives.

Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and facility management to maximize uptime and operational reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations management.

Demonstrated expertise in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction.

Strong proficiency in production planning, scheduling, quality control, and inventory management within a manufacturing setting.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and foster a culture of safety.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to operational decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Experience implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, IoT).

Proficiency with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
