As a Lead Project Specialist you will serve as a key member of branch project management team and expert user of SAP to ensure customer satisfaction, taking a proactive approach to servicing the Company's customers on project orders.
In this role you will:
Perform order entry of job orders, particularly the larger, more difficult projects, including order acknowledgements to customers.
Coordinate fixture packages and gear releases, including expediting of drawings and approvals, updating shipping schedules to customers, expediting deliveries with suppliers, and coordinating warehouse deliveries to ensure on time performance.
Execute accurate job lot billing to customers utilizing software, and process supplier invoices on projects for payment.
Produce various reports for customers and suppliers from project software throughout project period.
Provide training and guidance to less experienced Project Specialists as needed
What you bring to the table:
3 years’ experience
High school diploma or GED
5+ years’ experience: some customer service and electrical industry experience preferred
Four-year degree preferred
Knowledge of the Company's products and services
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong knowledge of SAP
Oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally
Ability to be detail oriented
Ability to influence without authority
Ability to mentor and train peers
Shift and hours: Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.
Compensation details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $36.86 per hour, depending on experience.
Working Conditions Office environment.
