We have an immediate opening for a

Quality Assurance Technician

based in our

Shrewsbury, MA

office. This is a full‑time temp‑to‑perm position. Successful performance and attendance during the initial 90 days will transition into a permanent position.

Base pay range $28.00/hr – $35.00/hr

Role Overview In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the company's quality and compliance standards through precise measurement, inspection, and data‑driven improvement.

What You Will Do

Inspect incoming, in‑process, and finished products to ensure compliance with documented specifications.

Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions and quality.

Maintain inspection records, test data, and calibration database.

Prepare quality reports and communicate non‑conformances through established processes.

Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.

Identify opportunities for improving quality control procedures.

Support production activities while ensuring quality checks do not hinder workflow.

Follow 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain an efficient work environment.

Respond to production quality issues in real time, ensuring proper documentation in the company's quality management system.

Maintain inventory of non‑conforming material.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.

Ability to read technical drawings and interpret detailed technical information.

Prior experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection instruments.

Training or experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D, kaizen, or similar problem‑solving methodologies.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Ability to multi‑task and prioritize work activities.

The pay range for this role is $28–35 per hour. Compensation is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
