This is an on‑site position in North Kingstown, RI. It is eligible for the Americas referral program for external candidates, tier 1 – $2,500 referral bonus.
Position Summary Provide quality service to our customers by internally auditing their mail kit products to ensure that the highest production and quality standards are met according to established standards and procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibility
General understanding of client’s completed mail kit product: job‑sheet reading/filling, ISO/CQM requirements, process understanding, control‑plan interpretation; knowledge of calibration and verification, AQL, military standards, and non‑conformity processes. Follow established QA procedures during internal QA audit.
Proficiency in QA procedures.
Audit jobs from Data Card, Hand Fulfillment and Auto Inserting departments.
Understand and use the company’s JAAMS system for department audit input and job‑tracking.
Generate non‑conformance reports for management.
Provide feedback to the QA manager on excessive errors discovered during auditing.
Support production floor with inspection/separation of non‑conforming products.
Validate new products and portfolios.
Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork.
Be flexible with night and weekend work for major projects.
Be detail‑oriented and highly focused to meet customer expectations.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum Requirements
1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Personal Characteristics Basic analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities; well‑developed interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and self‑directed.
Language and Communication Skills Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; excellent written and verbal communication.
Technical Skills Basic math skills; intermediate computer skills.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and handle varied variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; results‑oriented.
Other Requirements Successful applicant must comply with federal contractor vaccine mandate requirements and will need to complete a post‑offer background check. Candidates with a criminal history are considered per federal and state law.
