Executive, ASC Operations will help steward accredited outpatient surgery services known for strong patient satisfaction, efficient care pathways, and coordinated multispecialty collaboration. Executive, ASC Operations will report to a regional ambulatory operations leader with close alignment to enterprise service line leadership. Executive, ASC Operations will have leaders such as ASC administrators, perioperative nurse managers, practice managers, and support supervisors reporting in, with dotted-line collaboration from quality, finance, supply chain, and revenue cycle partners. Executive, ASC Operations will work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, sterile processing, clinic leadership, IT, facilities, and compliance to deliver seamless perioperative services.
Executive, ASC Operations will oversee multiple ambulatory surgery centers and procedure suites in the Area that deliver high-volume, same-day surgical care across specialties such as orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, GI, general surgery, and pain management. Executive, ASC Operations will lead professional, team-oriented environments staffed by expert RNs, surgical technologists, sterile processing professionals, front office teams, and experienced administrators. Executive, ASC Operations will champion a patient-first culture marked by efficiency, collaboration, and thoughtful, data-driven decision-making.
Executive, ASC Operations will plan, execute, monitor, and continuously improve operations for the assigned geographic area to ensure excellence in quality, service, and affordability while meeting strategic goals. Executive, ASC Operations will implement policy and best practices for clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory readiness; mentor leaders on education, competencies, and performance; and drive clinical quality improvement and patient satisfaction outcomes. Executive, ASC Operations will own administrative levers including budgeting, revenue stewardship, staffing models, access optimization, scheduling, physician relations, managed care performance, and capital planning, with day‑shift, full‑time leadership responsibilities Monday through Friday and occasional weekend needs. Executive, ASC Operations typically brings a bachelor degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field or equivalent experience, at least fifteen years of relevant leadership experience, deep knowledge of physician practice operations and managed care, and exceptional communication and decision‑making skills.
