Regional Business Manager – Central

Job Summary The Regional Business Manager – Endo (RBM) is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals by leading the Professional Sales Representatives in a specific geographic area. The RBM participates in product planning, marketing, data analytics, training and commercial operations projects.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure representatives adhere to the Call Plan and reach/frequency targets.
Recruit and staff the region through proactive hiring.
Maintain high technical product competency and disease‑state knowledge.
Coach reps in product knowledge and Rx‑selling skills via training, peer coaching, and one‑on‑one sessions.
Apply the Situational Leadership program to develop and resolve challenges.
Ensure compliance with the SFA systems—physician records, sample records, call logs.
Implement product and sales strategies through regional tactical plans (IBPs) and hold reps accountable.
Deploy and utilize Amneal assets—samples, territory routing, promotional balance, marketing budget—to maximize productivity.
Lead the field sales team to exceed quotas and manage day‑to‑day performance expectations.
Contribute best practices to the national management team and support business planning.
Complete administrative tasks: Field Coaching Reports, business reviews, expense reporting, time‑off reporting, vehicle inspections.
Drive revenue and profit goals within the geography while managing expenses responsibly.
Lead and plan management meetings, including Plan of Action sessions, and coordinate with internal departments.
Attend industry conferences to support reps in interactions with healthcare professionals.
Compliance Activities
Ensure reps maintain compliance with external and internal standards: CSO/Amneal policies, PDMA/OIG, AMA guidelines, PhRMA Code, etc.
Follow Amneal RBM expectations principles.
Participate in special projects as needed (e.g., Field Interview Guide, performance review updates, brand team planning).
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or related field (required).
Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
Experience
5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
3+ years in field sales.
3+ years in operations, sales training and field sales management.
Skills
Intermediate: Computer literacy (MS Office), ability to manage multiple tasks, work well under pressure, excellent written and verbal communication.
Advanced: Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
Compensation Salary range approximate $130,000–$170,000, variable based on market data, skills, experience and certifications.
