SHIFT:

Must be able to work retail hours, including some holidays and weekends.

STARTING PAY:

$18.00–$22.22 plus commission & ongoing training to promote career growth.

BASIS OF WAGE:

Base pay may vary depending on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

General Description As an Automotive Tire & Service Advisor, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear’s Auto Service centers while delivering outstanding service and building meaningful guest relationships. You will also become familiar with quality, sales, and profitability in a team environment.

Responsibilities (Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To)

Drive sales and profitability by selling tires and recommended automotive services, communicating benefits and product features appropriately.

Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction by understanding their needs.

Communicate all advertising and promotion of products and services.

Take responsibility for guest interactions from the initial experience through completed service, including checking in, scheduling appointments, accurately estimating time requirements, and checking out.

Contribute to promotional merchandising and special events.

Effectively communicate warranties, promotions, and advertisements to guests.

Use tools provided to make recommendations based on manufacturing guidelines.

Assist the Service Manager in communicating information about guest vehicles, as needed.

Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.

Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications

Previous automotive guest service experience.

Valid driver’s license.

Minimum age 18 years.

No relocation is offered for this position.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Previous tire sales experience.

Previous automotive service sales experience.

Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.

Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.

Flexibility to work full days, including weekends and some holidays, as stores may be open 7 days a week.

Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
