Sequoia Financial Group is excited to announce new opportunities to join our growing team, made possible through a strategic partnership with a leading CPA and consulting firm, Eide Bailly. Our firm recently acquired Eide Bailly Wealth, the wealth management practice previously operated by Eide Bailly, allowing us to expand our reach and deepen our presence in key markets west of the Mississippi.

Summary Of The Position We are seeking a Wealth Advisor with 10‑15 years of client‑facing, comprehensive wealth‑planning experience to join the team dedicated to the Eide Bailly relationship. This is a full‑time, in‑person position located at the Eide Bailly/Sequoia office in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be highly strategic, team‑oriented, and service‑focused with the technical ability to handle highly complex planning for clients across the wealth continuum.

Responsibilities

Oversee the lifecycle of a client’s initial relationship with the firm, from working with the CPA and client to gather information, to creating/leading the proposal, to designing and implementing their financial, estate, and portfolio strategies.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships.

Manage a pipeline of opportunities, document all interactions and relevant information, and provide clear, actionable insights to Sequoia and Eide Bailly to move opportunities forward.

Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the CPAs and clients to proactively identify planning opportunities and address ongoing planning needs.

Define client meeting objectives and follow up on all action items, including the execution of trade orders, in a timely manner utilizing the firm’s robust technology resources and advisory team support.

Supervise and coordinate the preparation of client meeting materials including agenda, planning analyses, investment materials, etc.

Work collaboratively with and mentor technical advisors to ensure their work is aligned with client objectives and that communication to the client and their advisors is clear and concise.

Required Skills/Experience

10‑15 years of client‑facing wealth planning experience with strong technical proficiency in estate planning, asset management, tax planning, and planning for closely held entities.

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in finance, accounting, tax or related field.

One or more professional credentials such as CFP, CPA, CFA, JD, etc.

Active Series 7 & 66 or Series 65.

Clean Form U4 without any regulatory disclosures, client complaints, arbitrations or disclosable settlements.

Ability to simplify complexity for clients and advisors and communicate solutions clearly and effectively.

Experience with eMoney required.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience with Holistiplan planning software (or equivalent).

Familiarity with the Fidelity and Schwab investment platforms.

Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.

Experience working directly with CPA firms.

Tech‑forward thinking with an aptitude and desire to leverage technology to improve efficiency and client service.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high follow‑through and attention to detail.

Client‑first mentality with a strong focus on providing high quality service.

Team‑oriented mindset.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and personalities while meeting established deadlines.
