\ \ Production/Material Scheduler\

\ Position Overview\ \ Plan for finished goods and raw and work‑in‑process materials, production scheduling, capacity management and inventory accuracy. Allocate resources both in‑house and with subcontract packaging resources. Consider least cost methods to assure a high level of service performance for Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) customers.\
\ Position Functions\ \ \ 90% – Scheduling & Planning\ \
\ \ Develop weekly and monthly production schedules for production facilities including sub‑contracted partners.\
\ Develop product planning/scheduling for all in‑house and sub‑contracted needs.\
\ Provide training and troubleshooting to members of the planning and inventory control organization including vendors/subcontractors.\
\ Optimize application of SAP material planning and inventory controlling functions. Participate in process improvement teams within the operations organization.\
\ Communicate Forecast/Demand concerns or exceptions to Sales Forecast Analysis and/or sales team.\
\ Provide support to International Operations Planning efforts, as needed.\
\ Generate purchase requisitions or actual purchase orders to assure consistent and efficient supply of materials within the required lead time conditions.\
\ \ \ 10% – Administrative\ \
\ \ Maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) master data including operations related records (Production Jobs, Purchasing Orders, etc.).\
\ \ Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.\
\ Qualifications\ \ \ Minimum Qualifications\ \
\ \ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job.\
\ Five or more years of manufacturing experience including raw material purchasing, production and capacity planning, and inventory control or other related experience.\
\ Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.\
\ \ \ Preferred Qualifications\ \
\ \ Association for Supply Chain Management certification.\
\ SAP experience.\
\

\ Physical Requirements\ \ The team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand‑eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read. The team member frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Position requires frequent typing. Position requires occasional business travel, including operation of a motor vehicle.\
