Our team is growing! Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Human Machine Interface (HMI Design/Implementation Lead). In this role you will lead the development of HMI solutions for Curtiss-Wright SCADA system implementations using both Curtiss-Wright internal proprietary HMI packages as well as industrial packages such as Factory Talk View, WinCC, Ignition, and others. We are looking for someone who has experience in multiple HMI architectures with a background in requirements development, HMI design, and HMI testing, and who has experience working and leading teams. In this role you will lead a team of 5–10 people, including both internal and contract employees.
Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Salary Information:
$77,500 – $110,000 per year

Your Challenge
Transfer contract requirements and user needs to HMI concepts and designs.
Demonstrate strong management skills, including leading a team, backlog management, and prioritization of tasks to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Identify, develop, and apply appropriate HMI criteria, tools, methodologies, and processes to the SCADA systems being implemented.
Your Expertise
Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person.
Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
5+ years of human-computer interaction, ergonomics, human factors engineering, or human factors experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Experience in documentation and specification of HMI concepts.
Familiarity with nuclear and/or industry standards (ISO, SAE, NUREG-0700, etc.) and regulations related to HMI.
Experience presenting to all levels of an organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Ability to work a professional work schedule in an office environment. Non‑regular hours will be required occasionally.
