Job Summary Manage ‘Invest’ and ‘Enhance’ client interactions and expectations surrounding long‑term planning and high‑level value‑added services. Responsible for client retention, annual increases, and enhancement penetration.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, Construction/Project Management, or related field.

Experience:

At least 5 years related work experience.

Extensive knowledge of regional plant life (Field Experience).

Minimum 3 years of verifiable field experience with project estimating or design‑build work.

Strong estimation background, with working knowledge of construction/installation & irrigation.

Familiar with commercial landscape equipment and their functions; license or certification as required by state and federal law.

Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.

PMP preferred.

Specialized Skills:

Strong customer service skills, with internal and external clients.

Effective oral and written communication.

Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, document management, and cost forecasting.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans/drawings.

Experience working with commercial property managers, vendors, consultants and architects a plus.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines.

Organizational skills.

Flexibility.

Advanced presentation skills.

Intermediate to advanced understanding of Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Software.

Intermediate to advanced experience using design software, including Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and ProLandscape.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format.

Ability to read, write and comprehend English.

Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients.

Physical Requirements

Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk.

Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, in color, peripherally, have depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance.

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and rarely up to 75 pounds.

Work Conditions

Frequently required to use computer-based systems.

Frequently required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Occasionally sits for long periods of time in office environment.

Occasionally works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions.

Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.

Essential Duties

Serve as point‑of‑contact for high level site and project issues to expeditiously and proactively identify, address, and resolve client needs.

Act as liaison between operations and client, ensuring clarity in communication and expectations.

Conduct walkthroughs with client and other company representatives as appropriate.

Evaluate accounts and develop an effective and on‑going landscape asset management plan.

Build a strong knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, and objectives.

Collaborate with Area Managers to maintain a holistic understanding of ‘Invest’ and ‘Enhance’ client sites.

Stay up‑to‑date on day‑to‑day site operations and issues to identify trends in need of comprehensive solutions.

Create, manage, and control scope of work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Manage all project communication between internal and external clients.

Analyze and understand job cost reports and budget variances related to contract projects.

Prepare monthly forecast of labor and materials, and accurate job costing of work orders.

Meet or exceed annual sales goals.

Gather, calculate and compile take‑off data for use in bid estimates.

Accurately prepare bids and landscape designs & renderings, by utilizing field collected data and computer programs, to present to client.

Visit jobs in progress to relate actual estimate; review questions or problems that may arise.

Manage billing process, including communicating change orders, lien releases, progress billing, etc.

Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, insuring accountability and quality for price.

Ensure safety on every project by enforcing safety training and meetings, as well as consistently monitoring job sites for potential safety hazards.

Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices.

Seek opportunities for continuous improvement of project management, technical and communication skills.

Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range $70,000 – $100,000 per year.
