Job Description Develop and maintain business requirements, test plans, test cases, and perform functional and regression testing on applications. Support applications in a help‑desk type environment.

Day‑to‑Day Tasks

Analyze system documentation and artifacts to understand the associated business process.

Elicit business system requirements using current processes, interviews, group meetings, or existing documentation.

Document and analyze ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ business processes.

Develop high‑level and detailed system requirements in clear business requirement documents, context diagrams, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and use cases.

Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases.

Develop or maintain user acceptance testing plans and help‑desk support guides.

Develop detailed functional and system tests from documented system requirements; map requirements to test cases for coverage.

Develop or contribute to regression tests and/or user acceptance tests.

Execute functional and system tests, including regression tests, and participate in user acceptance testing.

Identify and document application defects; track to resolution and retest as required.

Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation during testing.

Respond to and work‑through incident tickets submitted by users of business applications.

Qualifications

84+ months experience eliciting business requirements from customers or system artifacts and maintaining such requirements.

84+ months experience developing business requirements and process documentation such as use cases, process flows, screen mock‑ups, and data dictionaries.

84+ months experience creating test plans and test cases, executing functional and system tests including regression tests; ensure test coverage by mapping requirements to test cases.

84+ months experience identifying and documenting application defects, tracking defects to resolution, and performing retesting as required.

84+ months experience supporting business applications in a help‑desk type environment.
