LOGISTIC SUPPLY SPECIALIST — MIAMI VALLEY HOSPITAL, Premier Health Partners
Job Details
Shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM (includes weekends, holidays)
Work schedule: Part‑time, 40 hours per pay period or 20 hours per week
Responsibilities
Perform cross‑functional logistics and supply chain functions, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and replenishment.
Manage the flow of supplies across the organization, ensuring timely distribution to clinical staff and other stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including supervisors, management, and clinical staff.
Prioritize responsibilities and complete tasks within scheduled hours.
Operate material handling equipment safely.
Qualifications
Education: High school completion or GED.
Experience: No prior job‑related experience required; preferred experience in material management, preferably in healthcare.
Knowledge & Skills
Proficient in mathematics, reading, and writing.
Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems.
Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse, and inventory skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, supply‑chain inventory software, and mobile supply‑chain devices.
Understanding of Facility Disaster Plan, Safety, Infection Control, Blood and Tissue Handling, HazMat policies.
