General Summary The Maintenance Lead is responsible for first‑line leadership for the shift, leading all phases of maintenance duties. The role ensures the team’s safety performance, preventive maintenance (PM) attainment, reduction of downtime, conformance to specification, quality standards, and meeting Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments of the Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include directing scheduling, timecard accuracy, SQF program, reliability, training, and daily work processes of hourly Maintenance Mechanics to ensure machinery works safely and meets production needs without breakdown or interruption. The position requires demonstrating a "Can Do" mindset, excellent customer service, and qualification in the required skill sets for a Maintenance Mechanic—electrical, engine room, mechanical, and fabrication.
Requirements Applicants must qualify as a maintenance mechanic by passing the written and practical maintenance tests prior to job appointment. Candidates must perform all duties safely and productively, and be available for a flexible schedule and overtime as required.
Minimum Education Required High School Diploma or GED and/or 1‑year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience Preferred (not Required) Previous Maintenance Mechanic and supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits The starting rate for this full‑time, hourly position is $38.25. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. We also offer competitive health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
