We are seeking a Coordinator, Asset Management to help power the asset pipeline for the Paramount Global Content Distribution team. The primary responsibility of this coordinator will be to support the ongoing efforts to gather, conform & distribute digital production assets for Features and Series. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self‑motivated and can meet daily and long‑term deadlines.
This is an on‑site role that will require (5) days in office based out of the Paramount Pictures Studio Lot in Hollywood, CA.
Responsibilities
Maintain successful distribution of a large volume of marketing assets in a fast‑paced environment, keeping materials organized and delivered in a timely manner to the accurate locations.
Assist with promo localization workflow.
Lead assets in our DAM (digital asset management) systems, working closely with internal and external partners to obtain files, upload and apply metadata, maintain organization, and keep assets up to date.
Liaise with cross‑functional departments to source, lead, and distribute title‑related assets for Marketing, Publicity and Creative Services use, including artwork, metadata, and production materials. Deliver completed materials through varying methods (e.g. Xytech, Airtable, Box).
Light copyediting (e.g. reduce character counts of synopses) and conversion of metadata spreadsheets to various specs.
Troubleshoot asset‑related issues and maintain quality control.
Develop and exhibit a thorough understanding of the company’s television and film product catalog, including availability and schedules.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ year experience in digital asset servicing
Exhibited knowledge of AV and digital asset file formats and specs
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Comfortable working across a variety of digital delivery platforms
Curious, detail‑oriented, and highly accurate with grammar and spelling
1+ year experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Additional qualifications
Candidate should be a team player with strong project coordination skills
Familiarity with the entertainment business is a plus
Familiarity with project tracking and scheduling programs such as Airtable is a plus
Additional Information Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
