Reports To Director, Onboarding
Position Overview As the Client Onboarding Manager for Bullish Exchange's US Operations, you will play an integral part in our business expansion by ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for new clients in the US & globally. You will lead the onboarding process for US Institutional Clients from initial engagement to account setup, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. You will collaborate closely with Client Onboarding, Sales, Legal, & Compliance teams in APAC, EU, and the US to address client needs, resolve issues, and enhance the overall client experience. This position requires on-site presence in New York City (Union Square) for a minimum of 3 days per week.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead and conduct KYC and EDD on corporate and individual customers, including enhanced due diligence and periodic reviews.
Make onboarding recommendations to senior management regarding potential customers.
Understand and apply overlapping local and global regulatory requirements.
Work with business stakeholders to ensure that potential customers are properly assessed for integrity, financial crime, sanctions, and terrorism-linked risks and onboarded in a compliant manner.
Support the Global Bullish team with KYC related tasks as needed.
Create and manage customer accounts.
Occasional travel may be required.
Experience & Qualifications
10+ years of directly related experience in a corporate onboarding role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day KYC onboarding compliance affairs.
Good knowledge of provisions of crypto/fiat licensed entities, local laws, directives, regulations, and applicable standards.
Sound market knowledge of leading-edge KYC solutions and market practices.
Competent in coordinating, organizing and relationship building; excellent time management skills.
Preferred skills:
ACAMS / CAMS / CCAS / ICA certifications or similar.
Professional experience at a digital assets company.
Good knowledge of upcoming virtual currency regulations and policies.
Compensation The anticipated base salary for this position is $137,000 - $165,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives and benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
