Responsibilities
Hands‑on caregiving: provides direct care support to members with disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene, using mobility devices and safe transfer techniques similar to those in assisted‑living facilities.
Leads group home meetings and communicates changes with home, consumers, staff, and organization to keep everyone informed.
Collaborates with HR in hiring, retention, discipline, and termination to ensure qualified staff and adequate staffing.
Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming group home through housekeeping, vacuuming, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, dusting, bed making, changing linens, and laundry.
Prepares and serves meals following general nutritional guidelines and individualized dietary restrictions.
Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other assistance during social and recreational activities for members.
