Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator at TransPak Overview Join to apply for the Forklift Operator role at TransPak. This role involves working as part of the TransPak team to maintain warehouse operations, including stocking, moving materials, loading/unloading, and keeping an organized warehouse and storage system at our facility. You’ll prepare materials for production use or shipping/receiving, operate a forklift, and perform other duties as needed. Coaching and regular feedback will be provided for continuous improvement. What You’ll Be Doing Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needs Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers using appropriate equipment Loading and unloading of truck trailers and other vehicles Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures Collaborate with colleagues to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use; follow all procedures and know the equipment before using it Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts May perform special continuous improvement projects as needed What We’d Like To See From You Highly Desired High School diploma or GED Forklift experience with the ability to maintain certifications on equipment such as forklift certification or pallet jack training, as required by site Strong teamwork and communication skills to build a high performing team Demonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, continuous improvement behaviors Able to lift 50 pounds Safe and Efficient Facility Team Member Preferred High School diploma or GED Bilingual English-Spanish speaker One (1) year inventory management experience Previous warehouse or material handling experience Demonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, continuous improvement behaviors Role model TransPak culture and operating procedures Interested but Concerned You’re Not Qualified?
