Our Program Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a foundational global initiative focused on developing talent for ION’s growing operations around the world. The program provides an opportunity for outstanding university graduates to start a career in a dynamic and fast‑paced global FinTech firm.

Analysts will spend the first 18 months of their career in three diverse six‑month rotations covering a broad range of ION's core capabilities. At the end of their rotations they will transition to a Professional Services Analyst role based in our Houston office. Sample rotations/deep dives include:

Consulting and Delivery Services

Project Management

Product Management

What You'll Do As an LDP, you will be working at the forefront of the FinTech industry in teams with fellow analysts and experienced subject matter experts. After going through our thorough induction program, you will quickly be expected to take ownership of challenging projects that make a real difference to our company and our customers.

In your role as a Professional Services Analyst, you’ll play a key part in supporting and implementing ION’s innovative products for leading global organizations—including tier‑1 banks and Fortune 100 companies. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to:

Build a deep understanding of our clients and the industries they operate in, becoming a trusted partner in their success

Dive into customer business requirements—analyze, interpret, and help shape solutions that make a real difference

Learn how to connect customer needs with cutting‑edge ION solutions, driving innovation and efficiency

Get hands‑on experience deploying ION solutions in real‑world environments through implementation projects

Solve challenges in real time—troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, and deliver impactful resolutions

Collaborate with customers to uncover manual processes and identify exciting opportunities for automation and optimization

Throughout the program, you will also be encouraged to pursue interests and skills outside of your rotation to further yourself and the organization.

Basic Qualifications

Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 undergraduate graduation

3.3 GPA or above (transcript required)

STEM, Business, or Economics degrees preferred, and/or demonstrable interest in finance and/or technology, ideally including work experience

Authorization to work in selected country without restriction or need for sponsorship

Demonstrated leadership potential both in and out of the classroom

Passion for learning, self‑improvement, and a questioning and challenging mindset

Motivated self‑starter who is proactive, enthusiastic, and passionate about what they do

Strong problem‑solving capabilities and the desire to understand the “why” behind each problem

How You'll Grow Upon completion of the Leadership Development Program, you will have a well‑formed view of the FinTech industry. Through the rotational opportunities supported by continuous feedback, coaching, and mentoring, you will develop critical skills and professional capabilities fundamental to your career. At ION, we encourage our analysts to step outside their comfort zone. The LDP gives analysts the opportunity to identify their passions and cultivate their skills. Our goal is for you to complete the program equipped with sufficient knowledge, and the potential, to become future leaders. Transitioning into your deep‑dive role, you will further explore your passions within ION.
